Description of Veloflex Corsa 28 Open Tubular Clincher Tire - 28-622 - black

New dimensions without renouncing quality and performance

The Corsa 28 is designed to cater for customers who are looking for clincher tires with the same performance as a tubular on any road surface.
The 28mm section provides cyclists with greater comfort without losing its qualities, particularly on rough roads. Suitable for both training and racing, it complements the superb characteristics of a tubular with the easy fitting and handling of a clincher tire. The tread ensures major grip and safety for cornering even under extreme weather conditions.
The Corsa 28 weighs 235gr and is made with tubular 320 TPI (Thread Per Inch) casing to offer low rolling resistance and greater flexibility.

Customer Reviews
I've been riding on Veloflex 25mm for a few years. 28mm version adds a bit more of comfort without sacrifying performance. Even at max pressure the ride is still subtle thanks to high TPI. Puncture protection seems to be improved as well in comparison to models from a few years ago. Its width on 17mm inner width rim at ca 7,5 bar is 27,5 mm. I will definitely go for 28mm version instead of 25mm ones.
It seems to be impossible to mount it first on a rim. It looks so tight. However if you follow that trick from youtube with pushing tire on both sides floor wise there will be enough gap made between tire and the rim that you will mount the last part without a need of using tire levers ;)
