The profiles of the rims were developed specifically for tubeless use. They guarantee a perfect fit and make the installation of the tire as easy as possible. Nevertheless, it is always possible to use a conventional combination of tire and tube.

The DT Pro Lock spoke nipples prevent independent loosening of the spoke-nipple connection. A patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread, which allows the construction of extremely durable wheels. Once the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated and then fully cures. Repeated re-centering is easily possible, although the adhesive strength decreases slightly with each re-centering.

DT Swiss Hubs is known for the No-Tool-Konzept . The concept allows tool-free conversion to all common axle standards.

The Ratchet System hubs are unique in that all the teeth of the two discs engage simultaneously each time. In the case of clinker hubs, the engagement area is quite small. In the case of Ratchet System , on the other hand, the entire face surfaces engage with each other, which ensures a much lower point load. The result is the legendary reliability of Ratchet System hubs.
