30 mm inner width and light! This describes in a nutshell the ETR ExtraDrei wheels. The ideal field of application is fun-oriented All Mountain and Enduro riding. The tire manufacturer MAXXIS has adapted its current premium tires to the 30 mm inner width of modern rims with WT technology. This means that the contours of the WT (Wide Trail) tires harmonize perfectly with 30 mm rims. Therefore the ideal tire width for the ETR-ExtraDrei is 2.40 to 2.60 inches.
The shot-peened surface (micro-peen) of the rims causes a material compression which increases the resistance of the rim against scratches and dents. Veltec hubs with industrial bearings are available in all common installation dimensions and drive systems. The freewheel system consists of 6 pawls that reliably establish the frictional connection. Tapered Sapim Sprint spokes guarantee perfect stability. The anodized aluminium nipples with Double Square technology allow a scratch-free centering.
