Dual DNA Compound

The tread of the Vulpine features a rubber compound that combines the properties of two different materials in a single tire. The supportive rubber in the center of the tread provides optimal rolling efficiency as well as tread durability, while the softer rubber on the outer edges increases confidence in turns on different terrain and conditions.

SG2 Puncture Protection

SG2 is a unique puncture protection technology that provides bead-to-bead coverage to ensure both the tread and sidewall are protected from cuts and punctures. The nylon fibers have a uniquely flat profile which means less rubber is needed to fill the gaps between the fibers. Improving this ratio increases puncture resistance, reduces weight and improves the overall liveliness of the tire. While SG2 is primarily a puncture protection layer, the tightly woven fibers also help maintain air pressure more evenly.

TCS (Tubeless Compatible System)

Tires with the TCS designation are tubeless-ready. They feature a durable aramid bead combined with a pliable carcass. TCS tires must be mounted on a Tubeless-Ready rim with tubeless rim tape, tubeless valve and tire sealant.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
