The Maxxis Dissector is insanely fast, mills precisely through every corner and decelerates perfectly on any surface. As a starting point for this, the profile of the Maxxis Rekon, Minion DHF and HighRoller II was combined and designed during the 2018 World Cup season in close collaboration with Downhill racer Troy Brosnan. Due to its special rubber compound and optimized carcass, the tubeless folding tire is ideal for Enduro use.

3C MaxxTerra | The right 3-component compound for Enduro and Freeride tires. Smooth uphill and best adhesion downhill characterize this compound as well as a long life.

DoubleDown | This technology uses 2 carcass layers with a density of 120 TPI each and a butyl insert in the sidewalls. In conjunction with an aramid bead the tires grant a very high puncture protection and a low weight at the same time. Perfect for tough Enduro trails.

Tubeless Ready | Tubeless operation allows riding with lower tire pressure, less rolling resistance and high puncture protection. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other Tubeless tires on the market. The bead of the is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST Tubeless tire. Thus, the mounting on all rims with standard dimensions is already successful with the first inflation and with little liquid.

Wide Trail | The Maxxis Wide Trail construction optimizes the tread layout and tire shape on current wider rims. The tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35mm, but work excellent on all rims with an inner dimension of 30-39 mm.

 

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
