Salewa Ortles GTX 3-Layer Jacket Men - black out 0910

When developing our Ortles 3L GORE-TEX® jacket, Salewa was inspired by three peaks: the Königsspitze, Monte Zebru and Ortler. This shell jacket is designed for high alpine areas and for full weather and storm protection.

It is made from a combination of lightweight, waterproof and durable 3-layer GORE-TEX® material with a special, extremely strong membrane and a woven GORE® Micro-Grid backer layer as well as GORE-TEX PACLITE® inserts for low weight - and to make it easier to pack away. Mountain-specific features include an ergonomically shaped, helmet-compatible storm hood with a high collar and one-hand adjustable back, as well as a waterproof front zipper, Velcro-adjustable cuffs and ventilation zippers under the arms.

This jacket is a Salewa Committed product, which is manufactured according to additional, strict and independently audited environmental and social standards. In addition, both fabrics are made from recycled polyester.

  • Free Motion: the special underarm construction ensures that the jacket does not slip when climbing

  • Hood with pre-shaped peak and ergonomic fit for improved helmet compatibility and one-handed width adjustment.

  • Innovative hood gusset guarantees optimum fit with and without a helmet

  • Very high-cut collar for optimum protection

  • Waterproof front zipper

  • 2 pockets with waterproof zipper

  • Ventilation zipper on the upper back arm, can be operated with one hand under tension

  • Width-adjustable cuffs with Velcro fastener

  • Glued details

  • Waterproof finish, all seams taped

  • Abrasion-resistant and bonded
