The all-new Ultraz EVO is armed with an arsenal of the most protective NEOS textiles to keep your body as warm, dry, and shielded as possible in the most demanding weather.
Engineered for the toughest winter weather, the Ultraz Jacket has been revamped this year to boost its protection levels and increase warmth throughout. At the wind-facing front and upper back panels, Assos used their proven NEOS Light textile - a superlight 3L softshell with PU bonded membrane that’s water-resistant and 100% windproof - to ensure this element-facing section of your upper body remains fully protected from snow, rain, road spray, biting winds, and low temperatures. Assos then turned up the heat by mating this Light membrane with the highly insulating, breathable brushed RX Heavy on the interior, ensuring your core remains warm and bone dry. This allows gloves to disappear seamlessly between these layers of fabric and enjoy great comfort.
The thinner NEOS Ultra makes up the sleeves, also deployed in a two-layer twinDeck construction, with a light brushed 652.RX treatment on the interior for added protection and comfort. The breathable and solid center piece on the back features back panels on the left and right, which are made of the three-layer NEOS Medium and RX Heavy. By strategically using three NEOS softshell fabrics of different weights, Assos ensured that the Ultraz protects you exactly where you need it, while also providing breathability and reducing the weight even further. The positions we take on the bike - in combination with the expected riding conditions - determine the choice of material. After all, Assos is aware that riding in the deepest winter requires sportswear that is sophisticated in every detail, that fits and is absolutely reliable.
