SRAM RED eTap AXS
Wireless shifting has worked with the award-winning SRAM eTap® shifting logic since 2016. With the SRAM RED eTap® AXS™ road bike shifting system, SRAM puts wireless shifting on a new level. You'll continue to ride when the road stops? With AXS™ you can combine road and mountain bike components and finally give your gravel bike or cyclocrosser a dropper post with the RockShox Reverb AXS™. The heart of the electronic shifting system is the SRAM RED eTap AXS™ rear derailleur, which works with single or double cranks. Its Orbit™ technology ensures quiet and safe chain management. An improved motor and better signal transmission ensure faster gear changes. Together with AXS™, the X-Range™ technology 12 gears are now coming to the road bike. This offers a higher gear range and ensures more harmonious gear graduations. For the 12-speed drive, a chain with unique Flattop™ technology was specially developed, which is not only narrower, but also lighter, more stable and quieter.
SRAM Eagle AXS
For mountain goats, SRAM has equipped the XX1 Eagle™, X01 Eagle™ an now the GX Eagle™ mountain bike groups with the SRAM Eagle AXS™ connectivity. All groups use SRAM 1x™ technology and the secure X-SYNC™2 chainring. A completely new development is the Eagle AXS™ controller, which eliminates the need for cables and lets you enjoy a whole new shifting experience. More ergonomics, lower operating forces; and the touchpoints can be completely customized. The choice is yours: The AXS™ app lets you choose which controller shifts down or up, or you can control your RockShox Reverb AXS™ Dropper seatpost. The central control unit of the entire AXS™ system is the SRAM Eagle AXS™ rear derailleur, which shifts with absolute precision and silence. The intelligent Overload Clutch protects the rear derailleur from external influences. In the event of an impact, the motor gearbox is deactivated and the rear derailleur can move freely.
